This article explains how you can share images, Pixelmator Pro documents, and other files with us to make it easier to reproduce the issues you find. Any time a particular file is causing you trouble, it's a good idea to email it to us so we could investigate.
If you're sharing files under 20MB in size, you can attach them directly, by clicking Attach a File in our Contact Us form.
Sharing larged files
If you’d like to share a larger file with us, like a RAW example or a screen recording, you can share it using our upload server.
1. Sign in to our upload server
To start, open upload.pixelmator.com and sign in to the upload server using the login details provided by the Pixelmator Team.
If you don’t have these details, contact us through our Contact Us form, and we’ll send them to you.
2. Upload the files
To upload a file, you can simply drag and drop it onto the upload field. You can also click the Select Files button to open the files browser and locate the file you'd like to upload. You can also upload several files at once by Command-clicking to select them or one by one.
Please note that the maximum size of the files you can currently upload using the Pixelmator Team's upload server is 1GB.
3. Copy the generated URL address
After doing this, a URL that lets us find and download your file will appear on the page. Click Copy next to the URL to copy it.
4. Paste the link into your email to us
Paste the copied URL into your support request — we’ll then be able to download the files.
Note: Any files you upload will be retained in Pixelmator Team's internal servers for 1 year. If you'd like us to delete your files earlier, contact Pixelmator Support.
